Te Kano, the Māori word for The Seed, is a family-owned wine estate in Central Otago producing artisanal Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Pinot Gris. The Lloyd family are passionate about the land and committed to its rejuvenation to remind us that the seeds we plant today will blossom for generations to come. Following organic practices, we lovingly grow and create all our wine on estate sites overseeing every step from grape to bottle. Low yielding, delicately handled, and sustainably farmed; our wines express the characteristics of our 3 distinct Otago sub-regions: Bannockburn, Northburn & Waitaki.
